Liveagram listens to meetings, so this matters. Here's what we collect, where it goes and how to get rid of it, in plain English.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and name, and whether you sign in with Google or an emailed link. We never see a password.
- Your boards: the diagrams and plans, and the transcript of what was said while listening, with who said it. Anyone with a board's link can see it, including its transcript, so share links with care.
- People on your boards: names they enter, and what they say or type while the board is listening.
- Usage counts: how many minutes of audio and how many AI requests a board used, so we can apply limits and know our costs. These counts hold no words.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and pages requested, kept for a limited time to run and protect the service, and error reports that leave out what anyone said.
What we don't do
- We don't store your meeting audio. It's streamed for transcription, and what's kept is the text.
- We don't sell your data or show ads.
- We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies keep you signed in.
- We don't let our providers train AI on your meetings, as far as their terms and settings allow (details below).
Who handles your data
We use a few other companies to run Liveagram. They only get what they need to do their job.
| Company | What for | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Fly.io | Runs the service, in the US | Everything on the service, encrypted on disk |
| Deepgram | Turns speech into text | Meeting audio. We opt every request out of their model-improvement program, so they keep it only as long as it takes to process. |
| OpenAI | Draws the board and writes summaries | Transcript text and board contents. Not used for training. OpenAI keeps logs for up to 30 days to detect abuse. |
| Cloudflare | Domain name service, and nightly backups (in North America) | Backups of boards, transcripts and accounts, encrypted at rest |
| Resend | Sends sign-in emails | Your email address |
| Sign-in, if you choose it | The fact that you're signing in to Liveagram |
We'd share data beyond this only if the law required it. The list will change if our providers do, and this page will say so.
How long we keep things
- Boards and transcripts: until you delete them. You can delete a board's transcript and keep the diagram, delete a whole board, or delete your account.
- Backups: nightly copies are kept for 30 days, and the server's disk has its own snapshots for the same time. Something you delete leaves the live service at once and disappears from these within 30 days.
- Usage counts: kept for our records, with nothing that identifies you once your account is gone.
Your choices
- Get a copy: download everything from your account page.
- Delete it: delete boards from your boards, or your whole account from your account page.
- Ask us anything: if you were recorded on someone's board, or want something corrected or removed, email hello@liveagram.app.
Telling people in the meeting
The person who starts listening is responsible for making sure everyone on the call knows and, where the law requires it, agrees. Liveagram shows a notice on the board when listening starts, but people who aren't looking at the board won't see it.
Where your data is
Liveagram runs in the United States, and our providers process data there. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to the US.
Children
Liveagram is for people aged 18 and over, and isn't meant for children.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and tell you by email before it takes effect.
